General Information

What is your refund policy?

If you're not 100% satisfied with any course you've purchased, contact us within 14 days of your enrollment, and we'll issue you a refund. For memberships, only your first month's payment is refundable within 14 days. Subsequent monthly payments are non-refundable, but you can cancel at any time to prevent future charges. To request a refund, simply contact us at support@microgrinder.com within 14 days.

How long will I have access to my course(s)?

With our subscription-based membership, you will have access as long as your subscription is active. If you paid via a one-time purchase for an individual course or bundle, you'll have lifetime access to the content.

What's the difference between individual courses, bundles, and memberships?

  • Individual Courses: Single course purchase with lifetime access
  • Course Bundles: Multiple courses packaged together with lifetime access at a discounted rate
  • Memberships: Monthly subscription giving you access to all courses in your chosen tier as long as your membership is active

Course Format & Learning

What format are the courses in?

All our courses are video-based. Some may have supplemental materials like PDFs, too. You can learn at your own pace and revisit any lesson as many times as you need.

How much time do I need to commit each week?

That's entirely up to you! Our courses are self-paced, so you can move through the material as quickly or slowly as you prefer. Most students dedicate 2-5 hours per week between watching lessons and practicing at the tables.


Poker-Specific

How much of a bankroll do I need to apply these strategies?

Our strategies are designed for micro stakes (2NL to 25NL), so you can get started with as little as $50-$100. We teach proper bankroll management as part of our curriculum.

How long before I see improvement in my game?

Everyone's learning journey is unique and depends on several factors: how quickly you grasp new concepts, how much time you dedicate to study and practice, and your current skill level. Some students notice improvement within the first month, while others see results after several months of consistent study and table time. The key is staying committed to both learning the material and applying it at the tables.

Do you offer live coaching or hand reviews?

We currently don't offer one-on-one coaching sessions. However, hand reviews are available through our student community, where both instructors and fellow students provide feedback on your hands and help you analyze your play.


Membership-Specific Questions

Do these strategies work for online poker?

Yes. All our strategies are specifically designed for online micro stakes cash games and tournaments (from 2NL to 25NL).

I'm a total beginner. Which plan is best?

We recommend choosing the plan that fits your budget. If you can afford it, the All-Access Membership is the best choice because it is our most comprehensive training. However, the Fundamentals Membership is also a great starting point if you need a lower monthly cost.

Does my membership include access to the student community?

Yes. All MicroGrinder Poker School students get full access to the student community. It's a great place to discuss hands, strategy, and ask questions.

What if I don't like it?

Poker takes patience, which is why we offer your first month for just $1—so there is literally no risk to get started. However, if you feel our teaching style isn't meshing with you, we offer a no-questions-asked 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment.

How do I get the $1 first-month offer?

It's simple. Select the membership plan you want below. On the checkout page, enter code ONEBUCK into the coupon code box and hit apply. Your total will drop to $1 immediately.

Is there a contract or commitment?

No. Our memberships are billed month-to-month. You can cancel at any time by going to your Memberships & Subscriptions area and clicking the Cancel membership link.



Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership later?

Yes. You can change your plan at any time by going to your Memberships & Subscriptions area and clicking the Compare tiers button.


  • Upgrading: You'll pay the full price difference between tiers right away (if over $0.99), no matter how much time is left in your current month's billing cycle. The system doesn't consider timing - only what you've already paid. For the best value, we recommend upgrading at either the beginning or end of your billing cycle.
  • Downgrading: You keep access to your current tier until your billing period ends, then you'll switch to the lower tier when your next billing cycle starts.

Will my discount code work if I change membership plans?

No. Discount codes are tied to specific membership tiers. If you switch to a different tier, you'll need to use a new discount code for that tier. Your original discount won't transfer over.

How do I access my content after enrollment?

Access is immediate. Log in to your account and go to "My Membership" to find your membership content. All courses and materials included in your tier will be available right there in your dashboard.

What if I need to pause my membership temporarily?

We don't offer membership pauses. You can cancel your membership anytime and re-enroll later by purchasing again. Note that when you re-enroll, you'll start fresh - any previous progress or completion status won't carry over.


Account & Billing

Can I share my account with a friend or family member?

No. Account sharing is strictly prohibited per our Terms of Use. Each person must have their own individual account. Account sharing will result in your account being terminated.

Do you accept international students?

Yes! Students from all across the world use MicroGrinder Poker School. All pricing is in USD and our payment processor accepts most major credit and debit cards internationally.

Is my payment information secure?

Absolutely. All payment processing is handled through secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment processors. We never store your complete credit card information on our servers.

How do I update my payment method?

Log in to your account and navigate to your membership billing settings. From there, you can add or update your payment card. Please save your changes before your next billing date. If you need help locating this, contact us at support@microgrinder.com.


What happens if my payment fails?

We know things happen. We will automatically retry charging your card 3 times on days 3, 7, and 14. If all attempts fail, you will be automatically unenrolled from the membership and will lose access to the content.


Technical & Access

Can I access the courses on my phone or tablet?

Yes – however, with the level of detail in our lectures, especially with live play and explain videos, we encourage you to watch them on a large screen, such as a laptop or desktop monitor.

Can I download the course videos?

Course videos are for streaming only and cannot be downloaded. However, any supplemental materials like PDFs and charts are available for download.

What do I need to access the courses?

Just a device with internet access and a modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge). No special software required.

Miscellaneous

Can I gift a course or membership to someone?

Yes, but only for courses and bundles, not memberships. During the checkout, you'll see a "Send as a gift" option, where you can gift a course or bundle.


Do you offer discounts or promotions?

We periodically run special promotions, especially during the holidays. If you're a current student and haven't opted out of our emails, you'll receive our promotional emails when we send them.
